Ten Meaningful Back-to-School Prayers for Kids and Grandkids

Back-to-school season is here once again. And what better way to prepare the students in your life for a great year than prayers for starting back to school? Whether you’re looking for inspiring prayers for students or encouraging prayers for teachers, use these back-to-school prayers to ask God for help in their education, protection, friendships, and more!

Prayer is powerful for bringing God’s peace, comfort, and strength into our lives. We open ourselves up to God’s love and guidance when we pray. This can be especially helpful during times of transition, such as the start of a new school year.

One of the best ways to prepare your children this year as they return to school is through prayer. Also, praying Bible verses for students over them is one of the most powerful ways to pray.

Worship with us on Wednesday nights!
Join us for our Wednesday night service at 7pm! The focus of each night changes weekly (see below).

• First Wednesdays – Regular church with worship and a message
• Second Wednesdays – Worship Center University
• Third Wednesdays – Hope & Healing
• Fourth Wednesdays – Corporate Prayer
• Fifth Wednesdays – No Service (But Purpose Gen Youth meets and they have a blast!)
